Microsoft’s LinkedIn platform experienced a brief outage on Wednesday, affecting thousands of users.
At one point, there were over 48,000 reports of outages related to the business-focused social network in the U.S., according to Downdetector.com. LinkedIn acknowledged the issue and stated that it was investigating the cause of the outage. The platform has since been restored, allowing users to resume normal activity.
This outage comes shortly after Meta-owned Facebook and Instagram experienced a more than two-hour long outage on Tuesday, which was caused by a technical issue and impacted hundreds of thousands of users globally.
