Tauro Markets, a retail FX broker, has appointed industry veteran Carla Nemr as its Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) effective immediately. Nemr, who brings over two decades of experience in the financial trading industry, will lead the firm’s commercial strategy as it looks to expand its global presence.
In a statement to FinanceFeeds, Nemr expressed her vision for the company’s growth, stating: “We have the right tools and people at Tauro Markets, but real success will come from turning these strengths into commercial achievements. My role is to ensure we have a clear plan for steady growth, focusing on practical steps that will lead to lasting success. I’ll be working to align our technology, operations, and market strategy to help Tauro Markets stand out worldwide.”
Nemr’s career in the FX industry spans over 20 years, during which she has held several senior roles at major brokerage firms. Her most recent position was as Chief Business Development Officer at London-based Tickmill, where she spent seven years. During her time there, she played a pivotal role in driving global growth, managing international sales teams, and developing key client relationships.
Prior to joining Tickmill in 2017, Nemr worked as Regional Sales Manager at Amana Capital, where she successfully managed sales teams, increased revenues, and expanded client relationships across key markets. Her extensive resume also includes positions at Falcon Brokers, Alpari FS, and ForexTime Limited, where she further honed her skills in sales strategy, account management, and business development.
Nemr’s journey in the FX industry began in 2009 with FxPulp, and she has since built a reputation for her ability to drive growth and operational efficiency in various financial firms. Her new role at Tauro Markets will involve developing and executing commercial strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals, focusing on both existing and new markets.
Tauro Markets operates under the umbrella of JM Financial Services Co., authorized by the Ministry of Commerce in Kuwait, and JM Financial L.L.C., based in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, providing Forex and CFD trading services.
A Tauro Markets representative expressed enthusiasm about Nemr’s appointment, stating, “Customer base and retention will be the most crucial success factor for the brokerage of the future. We’re excited to collaborate with Carla in building the commercial structures that will position Tauro as a leading player in the coming years.”
