Vantage Markets has publicly acknowledged that customer withdrawals are taking longer than usual because of ongoing system maintenance, marking a significant development in a series of payment complaints reported across multiple countries.
On October 14, 2026, the forex and CFD broker posted similar responses to several customer complaints on Trustpilot, confirming that withdrawal processing was experiencing delays. The acknowledgment follows several days of complaints involving pending bank transfers, cryptocurrency payments and transactions that customers said had been marked successful without funds reaching their accounts.
However, the situation is not a complete withdrawal shutdown. Several customers have since reported receiving their money, suggesting that at least some delayed transactions are clearing even as others remain unresolved.
Vantage Acknowledges Ongoing Withdrawal Processing Delays
The clearest development came from Vantage’s own customer-service responses. Replying to complaints from customers in Malaysia, Bangladesh, India and other markets, the broker stated:
“Please be informed that withdrawal processing may currently take longer than usual due to ongoing system maintenance.”
Vantage added that it was working urgently to resolve the matter and thanked customers for their patience.
The responses represent a change in the available evidence. Previously, customers had alleged that support representatives were blaming technical maintenance or processing backlogs. Vantage has now publicly confirmed that system maintenance is affecting withdrawal processing, although it has not disclosed the technical cause or the number of transactions involved.
The latest acknowledgment follows earlier reports of Vantage withdrawal delays across multiple countries, including complaints involving bank transfers and cryptocurrency transactions.
New complaints continued on October 14. A Kenya-based reviewer claimed withdrawals had not been permitted since the previous Friday, while a Malaysian customer described continuing difficulties withdrawing a relatively small balance of $16.03. Vantage asked the Kenyan reviewer for additional information because it could not identify the case.
Other customers reported requests remaining in submitted or processing status for longer than their usual experience. These accounts are individual allegations and do not establish how many Vantage customers were affected.
Some Customers Report Receiving Delayed Withdrawals
Despite the continuing complaints, several reports suggest that withdrawals were still being completed.
In an October 13 Reddit discussion, a trader who said they had used Vantage for five years reported that a routine withdrawal requested on October 11 was taking substantially longer than normal. The trader subsequently confirmed on October 14 that all outstanding withdrawals had arrived.
Another participant reported receiving funds after approximately three days, while a separate user said a USDT withdrawal arrived after roughly 14 hours. Other participants continued reporting pending bank and cryptocurrency transfers on October 14.
A Trustpilot reviewer also updated an earlier complaint to say that a four-day withdrawal delay had been resolved and the money had reached their account.
These reports point to an uneven recovery rather than a confirmed blanket restriction on client withdrawals. They do not, however, establish that normal processing has resumed for every account, payment provider or jurisdiction.
Vantage’s Withdrawal Policy Sets Different Processing and Settlement Times
Vantage’s official deposit and withdrawal policy states that withdrawal requests are generally processed within 24 hours. Depending on the method selected, customers may then wait between one and seven business days or longer to receive their money.
International bank wires generally require three to five business days or more. The policy also allows additional verification, multiple transactions to fulfil a single withdrawal request and delays involving third-party payment systems.
This distinction is important because processing a withdrawal and delivering the funds are separate stages. A payment arriving several days after submission does not automatically demonstrate a violation of the broker’s published conditions.
Similar questions recently emerged in an IC Markets cryptocurrency withdrawal complaint, where existing verification requirements and processing cutoffs helped explain some of the customer’s concerns.
Vantage also published a maintenance notice scheduling website and server downtime on October 11 between 04:00 and 07:00 GMT+3. That notice does not establish whether the scheduled work caused the subsequent withdrawal delays.
As of the October 14 reports, the broker’s public responses had not specified when the withdrawal-related maintenance began, which payment channels were affected or when normal processing would be fully restored.
Why the Withdrawal Delays Matter for Traders
The most important question is no longer whether Vantage has a withdrawal-processing problem. The broker has acknowledged that withdrawals may be delayed by maintenance. The real issue is how widespread the disruption is and how quickly normal service can be restored.
For traders, access to capital is part of the brokerage service, not an optional convenience. A profitable position means considerably less if the resulting funds cannot be accessed when needed.
That becomes particularly important for active CFD traders who move capital between brokers, maintain margin across multiple accounts or rely on withdrawals to cover expenses.
There is also a considerable difference between a technical backlog and a liquidity problem. A payment-processing failure can prevent a perfectly solvent institution from delivering money on schedule. Financial distress would involve a fundamentally different set of concerns.
Nothing in the publicly reviewed complaints establishes that Vantage is insolvent, lacks sufficient client funds or has breached regulatory requirements. Treating maintenance-related delays as evidence of those problems would go beyond the available facts.
Still, repeated payment delays can become reputationally damaging even when every withdrawal is eventually completed. Customers generally tolerate temporary service disruptions more readily when they receive clear explanations and reliable recovery estimates.
Generic responses offer considerably less reassurance when someone is waiting for money that their account already describes as successfully withdrawn.
Transparency and Withdrawal Statuses Are Now the Bigger Test
One detail deserves particular attention: several customers reported withdrawals showing a successful status before the money appeared in their bank accounts or cryptocurrency wallets.
That does not necessarily mean the status was incorrect. The broker may have approved the transaction internally while the receiving institution or payment provider was still completing settlement. But the distinction needs to be understandable to the customer.
A useful recovery announcement would establish when maintenance began, whether it was planned or unexpected, which payment methods experienced delays and how many outstanding requests remain.
It would also clarify whether normal processing has resumed for both conventional bank withdrawals and cryptocurrency payments. The customer reports indicate problems involving both categories, but they do not prove that every payment channel experienced the same technical issue.
Another consideration is the legal entity responsible for each account. International brokerage brands can operate through several regulated companies, and the applicable complaint procedures and client-money protections depend on the entity involved. These differences are explored in our guide to regulatory protections and risks associated with offshore forex brokers.
For customers still awaiting withdrawals, preserving transaction timestamps, reference numbers, account statuses and written support communications may become important if delays continue.
For Vantage, the next meaningful development will be evidence that the backlog has cleared and normal processing times have returned. Confirmed payments are encouraging, but isolated successful withdrawals are not sufficient to establish a complete recovery.
The October 14 acknowledgment removes some uncertainty about the existence of processing delays. It also creates a clearer expectation that Vantage will explain how the disruption occurred, how extensively it affected customers and when the remaining withdrawal requests will be completed.
